We retain a $50.00 per person non-refundable deposit for administrative fees for any and all cancelled rides. A 48 hour cancellation prior to the reservation is required in order to receive a refund. If you do not cancel prior to 48 hours, are a no-show for the ride or are more than 15 minutes late you will be charged the entire balance of the ride and we will not administer any refund.
We are now offering online booking. Please note that you will be charged a service fee for online bookings. We will still be offering telephone bookings as well. If you do not see a time or option that you would like to reserve online, please do not hesitate to call us and we will do our best to ensure that you enjoy a Ride with Napa Valley Horse Company. Parties of 5 or more will be required to book by phone in addition to custom, private or specialty rides. Thank you.
Enjoy the Napa Valley from the Horse's View. Join us on a rustic tour traversing through the rolling vineyards and countryside of the beautiful Napa Valley. You will enjoy a 45 minute ride through the Vineyards over-looking the beautiful scenic countryside of the Napa Valley. Throughout the tour our experienced wranglers will introduce you to the world of the Wine Industry, grape varietal grown on our property while providing information about the history and romance of our one of a kind valley. We will share with you harvesting techniques and winemaking facts of the Napa Valley while you enjoy riding.
You will spend approximately an hour and a half with the horses. Prior to the ride, we will introduce you to the horses that we will be using on the tour, tack-up and answer any questions that you may have prior to your ride. We offer Romantic Sunrise Rides and/or Sunset in addition to the leisurely family ride. Please not that Sunrise and Sunset rides are seasonal rides. We pride ourselves in offering a unique ride for your party. Please call us to book your tour and/or discuss available upgrades.
*Please Note: All riders must be under 230 lbs., All riders must wear closed toed shoes without heels and jeans. We require each rider to wear a helmet - we have helmets available at no charge or helmets available for purchase. We do not allow intoxicated people to ride. If you have been drinking, please be aware that your Wrangler may not allow you to ride if you are deemed unsafe. Yes, you can get a DUI on Horseback. Also, horses are not tacked-up until arrival of guests, we tack-up while you sign waivers. We do not tack-up horses until start time. You are may be subject to waiting up to 15 minutes for the group to leave on the ride. You must be over the age of 21 in order to participate in the Wine Tasting and/or receive a bottle of wine. If you are under age, you will not be given wine or a discount. ID required. Any rider under 18 must be accompanied by a paying Adult/Guardian. Ages 8 and up only.
